is this too close for starting some seeds this week? it'll be tomatoes and bell peppers, seeds in soil that will eventually go outside. thoughts on the distance between light and pod?
Download the app Photon. Cut out a piece of printer paper into a smaller square, something easy to handle. Use the paper as a filter over the front facing camera while using the Photon app.
This will tell you the pffd. You should be between 100-300 ppfd for seedlings, increasing within that range as they develop. I use the app as a guide, not an exact. Considering it’s an app and camera with paper and not a true measuring device. That being said. It hasn’t failed me yet.
