Help Moss keeps dying!

I don’t know what’s been happening recently, but all the moss that I’ve collected and sanitized this spring has been completely dying. I’ve never had this happen before with the moss near me, both my moss box and new terrariums all are suffering when they are in different amounts of light and different humidity. Nothing seems to work.
