Context, my money tree here has been doing ok for about 5 years since my wife and I were married, and since 2023 or 2024, it has gone downhill. As you can see from pics taken today, it is skimpy and I think only one or two trunks are still going. I would guess it’s overwatering, but also might have been cold shocked from when we were on vacation in February and our heater crapped out while we were gone. (Live in New England) recently accidentally broke off a small shoot of new growth from the wooded bottom a few inches from the soil.
Is there any hope to bring our guy back at all? Or is it a lost cause. Please help if you can offer advice.
Lighting: was in an area of the house with east facing windows but out of direct sunlight. Now is in my office with south facing windows with hex shades and again, out of direct sunlight.
Watering: about every two weeks. Have a moisture probe that hits bottom and recently it has been reading “wet” at the bottom while the top third of the pot is reading dry or on the light end of “moist”.
Soil is the original soil plus 2 liters worth of soil specifically for money trees. Using a 10-10-10 plant food occasionally.

I might consider transplanting it with Root Hormone powder in with where the roots will go (&grow!)
It would be a long journey if you’re even able to bring it back. Unless it has serious sentimental value I’d toss it.
And it’s absolutely not getting anywhere near enough light being behind closed blinds. Most plants can handle “direct” light indoors. It’s not really direct light when it’s behind a UV filtering window.
