its been growing in my house but i am pretty sure its of indian origin since i am based in india and it grew kinda naturally?
Google lens led me to malabar spinach and the fruit does look rlllly similar but the leaves in my plant are a bit thinner comparatively…. so would like confirmation pls! plus if someone knows of its look alikes i would appreciate the names of those too!

Yep. That’s malabar. The reason yours looks so spindly with small leaves is cause they adore outside sun and humidity.
Yours looks a bit more viney than I’ve seen it, but yeah it develops small berries (with a single large seed inside) along the stem that turn from a green/whitish colour to dark purple so I think that’s Malabar spinach
