Can’t tell if the trunk is of tiny or buried but doesn’t look great

Lemons don’t take well to bonsai techniques

I’ve had a Meyer lemon for a few years and I kept thinking ‘I’ll do bonsai with this eventually’, but I haven’t really gotten it to play ball. I’m not sure citrus has the predictability to be worth the trouble. It may do better in your climate, though. That one does have movement and biforcation low so it has some merit. I would probably try to do a wide, billowy oak-like form with what it has. The fruit will probably never look proportional but it might look cute as one of those shohin with giant fruit if it could be pulled off (I’m not sure it could.)

tbh I wouldn’t bonsai a lemon, I hear the leaves don’t reduce well, but if you wanna do an experiment go for it

Not much. Leaves are very large and the fruits are massive.
If you want to bonsai a citrus try a some kumquat varieties, they respond well.

Set it free. Plant it in the ground.

Like others have said, not good for bonsai. If I had space though I’d put it in a massive ornamental container.
