Actually, just want to share, if you have any similar stories, I’d be interested to read them^^ Some months ago I bought a plant hoping it won’t die like my cactuses and other plants. It’s so beautiful now and I’m so glad it grows and is health 🙂

Then some weeks ago I bought a small bucket with seeds of strawberry. There were a lot of seeds just for 1 small bucket, so I remembered my dad had bought a large basin (idk how it called). I planted something like 30+ seeds and water it multiple times per day. Now I’ve just ate a mango and decided to plant its stone(I’m not sure whether it’s called stone in English 😅)

So, I’m afraid it’ll go father.. oh, and I have an onion in a jar with water for green onions 😀

My family mocks me because I’m 18 and doing „grandma‘s“ stuff, but I really enjoy planting, watering and watching them grow ❤️

I’m afraid you can’t stop. You’re not a planter for life! Life, I tell ya!

That’s the fun part, you don’t

Tell your family if the apocalypse happens, they will have to beg you for food since they refuse to learn anything about a basic life necessity. Why do they think gardening is below them? That’s weird.

As someone with a plant name, I would recommend only stopping it feels like a jungle 😀

If you ever find out how to stop the propagation obsession let me know. In the past year I have rooted numerous fig trees, started date palms and snake plants (both Dracaena trifasciata and angolensis, from seed, and will soon plant daylily seeds from crosses I made. I have too many plants and keep making more.

Not even looking at where this was posted. I thought the first picture was a tray of the most perfect coco dusted brownies…. Good luck with the planting!

My mother constantly has plant parts in glasses of water to grow roots. I bet she has at least 20+ little propagations started all over her house. She can’t stop. She’s always asking everyone if they’d like a plant.

You’re never too young to take pleasure in watching plants develop and growing your own food! This hobby can last a lifetime.
