if you chop and prop and plant it back in you’ll have a bushier plant

You can even bring the vine up and pin it into the soil with the nodes pointing downward

You really cannot go wrong with these. You can even cut halfway up and just see what happens. Find a friend who wants a cutting or two.

if the thought of cutting the vines to propagate makes you nervous, you could take one of the shorter vines and wrap it around the top of the soil. make sure the bottom of the nodes (the part where the leaves come out) has full contact with the soil and they should grow roots along the vine without having to cut any of the plant. gently pin the vine in place and it should begin growing roots.
new vines should branch out along the top side of the vine either where leaves used to be or some may dry up and new vines will grow in their place. it may take some time, so be patient!! once the nodes have roots you could either leave it as is or make cuts between the rooted nodes and pull them up and put them in new pots to multiply your plants.
