found it next to a nearby apartment building, in the pot and everything. i think it’s maybe some kind of yew but i’m not sure. i live in ontario but i think it was a houseplant. doggo for scale.
It looks like a Norfolk Island pine and not hardy to Ontario, so yes, an indoor plant.

Either Norfolk, Araucaria heterophylla or Cook pine, A. columnaris. Both species are often sold around the holidays. They are difficult to differentiate when young.
