Hello. My boyfriend has had this fern for years and it's just sat in the corner of our dining room where it gets good light. He waters it but that's about all! I want to help it thrive so I'm hoping to find some advice here. Please let me know of any suggestions. The soil is a mixture of whatever it had and then he just threw some ground soil on top from one time he was doing some landscaping in the front and it's gotten very leggy. I do have houseplant potting mix on hand to start asap. Essentially, she's been neglected! His mother gifted it to him so know it's special to him.
