I bought 2 Alocasia at the grocery store on the clearance table without knowing what they were. I just thought they were pretty. Anyway, they were huge in teeny tiny pots, so I just potted them the way I plant most of my plants. Well, after being on here for a while, I think I potted them incorrectly. I used regular potting soil, and I think the pot (for the 2 of them) may be too small. Anyway, I live in New Mexico, and I do put some of my plants out on my porch, which is covered, in the summertime. Should I pot them deeper? Should I pot each in a separate pot? Will these be able to take the heat? I plan to re-pot when I do that.
