i noticed it growing in my backyard this morning. it’s not growing anywhere else in my yard so i’m not sure myself what it is. i’ve never seen it before. ty for anyone who helps answer!!

Edit: thank you everyone!! i’ve never heard of Lambs Ear before but fully grown it looks pretty so i’ll probably leave it be. ty again to everyone for answering!!

    Yes. Lamb’s Ear. It is also called “nature’s toilet paper” as when you’re out and about and have to go……it’s soft like “Charmin”. 😂

  2. The last time I had such hairy leaves appearing in the garden without planting them, it was [Verbascum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verbascum) – Königskerze in German. It was obvious from the big flower.

    With Lambs ear I have no experience … I think that one does not yet grow in my region. It looks indeed similar – maybe more hairy.

    Lambs ear. It’s used as natural toilet paper when out in the woods & also has medicinal properties as well.
