I posted some photos of my impulse dahlia order and just wanted to give an update.
I cannot stop buying tubers.
Have I built their beds yet? Nope.
Do I know how I’m going to overwinter them? Not a chance.
Have I figured out where I’m going to put them all? Of course not.
Will I buy more? Absolutely.
Thing I have done;
-I have bags of tubers in my greenhouse sprouting
– I have started dahlias from seed
-I’ve made friends with some small dahlia farmers
-I’ve set alarm for tuber sales and repeatedly refreshed
their home page waiting for them to go live
-I’ve followed at least 100 dahlia pages across my social media
-I’ve forced my husband to do dahlia research as well so he can better enable my addiction
-I have googled “should I start a flower farm????” at least 27 times.
-I’ve made multiple orders for the same sale just to make sure I get the ones in my cart (and still didn’t get a bunch)
-I’ve showed eveyone who even considers to say hi to me my tuber orders
-I have specific varieties I want and cannot find
-and most recently, I’ve made a color palette of all the tubers I’ve ordered so far
Ya’ll were NOT kidding.
