    Ugh. This hurts.

I bet when you do have plants, you get great harvests though. My patio is windy as hell and self pollinating plants really get pollinated.

    Get some starts?

My worst fear unlocked. Try not to beat yourself up, stuff always happens and gardening is about always learning. There is also no shame in buying starts, a lot of folks do that. My grandpa is almost 100 years old and even he has needed to buy starts because of weird shit like what happened to you. Keep pressing forward!

Oh, that’s terrible! A similar thing happened to me last year – the whole table blew over (it had an umbrella).

You’d be surprised how resilient plants can be. If they’re tomatoes, they’re definitely fine. Repot and see what survives.

  5. This is heartbreaking for sure especially if the majority are lost but always a learning experience! After learning this the hard way myself I weigh or tie down anything I think isn’t too heavy to potentially blow over

Sorry this happened to you. II started reading the weather forecast on my app with the wind gusts because of this. Anything above 30 mph I take heed.
