In all my years of owning pothos plants, I’ve never seen this. Is this normal? I recently planted this propagation cutting and noticed this vine branching out a week later. I’m too lazy to get my step ladder to check more closely, but will do tomorrow.

Likely a stray plant that hitched a ride in your soil mix and sprouted. Too young for me to ID but it’s very cute
