I’ve always liked Baker Creek but the last few years they’ve been doing the same thing.
Homie. Never buy mixed seed packets. But even so, those seeds are not green because they denote a specific variety. They are green because they are coated in fungicide and usually rodenticide as well. The reason not all of them are coated is because you bought a packet of cheap mixed seed. Who knows what the individual seeds actually are.
That seems like a mistake. I have always received good quality seeds in decent quantity from Renee’s Garden. I would contact them.
I’ve bought these a few years in a row (and the black cherries that do super well). There are always a bunch in there, enough to share and for the following year – reach out to them if you got via online. If you purchased via a hardware store maybe there was a hole and some fell out?
Renee’s is local to me, I would contact them as this seems to be a mistake!
Online it says approx. 17-20 seeds, I would suggest contacting them. Maybe they’ll send you another pack.
I did an online order a few years back and one of the seed packets came empty. I called them and they were very responsive and sent me out another one with seeds. Definitely reach out if you can.
Mine didnt even pop. Enjoy your colored seeds that do nothing.

I bought Renee’s “mild habaneros”. I planted 12. 3 came up. They look like jalapeños but they do turn orange. Out of the 60 or so baker seeds I planted, only 2-3 didn’t come up.
Ugh! I hate this about seed packets these days from some companies! I have a Renee’s packet from 2020 and they had like 50 seeds in them.

This seems like a mistake. Renee’s is usually a fantastic seed company.
That’s def a fluke! I have that pack I’ve grown at least a dozen hearty starts across 2 years with the same pack

I bought these last year as well. Barely any seeds. Felt like a rip off. Maybe 8-10 seeds
MI Gardener seeds are $2.00 a pack and I’ve never been shorted seeds. This is no good.
Renee’s is a rip off honestly. Issues constantly.
