So this is my first try at an ecosphere. I am incredibly lucky to have a natural freshwater water stream that cuts through my garden, so i decided trying this. i am a little worried however, the scuds are all collecting in one group for some reason and im also worried i put too much sediment from the stream bed in, on top of that the “sediment” looks weird, i imagined it to be more “earthy” or “soil like” but its a grey mulch.
hope to get educated by you guys on if what i’ve done so far is somewhat correct..

I’d open the lid and let oxygen in, all that decaying matter is prob making the water toxic
