I planted this Eastern Redbud as a bare root seedling back in 2020. She survived rabbits, deer, my mom running over her trying to park in my yard, and the worst derecho in US history (Iowa, US, not far from Cedar Rapids).
And now she's gonna have some beautiful flowers for all the bumble bees in my yard ♥️♥️♥️

Exciting! My redbud always has SO many bumblebees around it when it’s blooming. The flowers are so beautiful, too!
I hope the two of you (and eighty billion bumblebees!!!) get many happy years together :’)
