So my tomatoe plant and 2 cucumber plants were doing great but recently they've went down hill.
I use to only use Distilled water, recently started getting RO water from a store that has an RO tap that sells systems since we've been having issues getting Distilled at the grocery store due to the east coast storms and people freaking out over 5 inches of snow.
I'm wondering if they don't upkeep the floor model and maybe it ruined my plants and my nutrient solution.
I was adding 10ml of cal mag originally, after the issues started I tried to reduce calmag thinking it was causing nute lockout. Reduced to 4 ml total.
Im also using floranova grow 5 ml, hydroguard every once in a while 4ml, pure blend pro bloom soil (the hydro store guy sold me the soil variant had no idea what is what got fired apparently , after I came back owner told me it's the same as hydro variant)
I have fan running, was looking worse but I trimmed alot tomato plant is almost size of large bush.
Maybe the ph is just drifting too much because of how much the tomatoes drink? Because I'm adding water with nutes almost once a maybe I should only add water for top off? Thing is tomatoes drink so fast I can't catch it before it's at the bottom. Do I need a refill resovour?
My tomatoes taste great, no bite to them took them to my grandfather who's a generational farmer and he said it was the sweetest tomato he's ever had.
The cucumbers are Sumter so smaller, have crunch taste great.
What's the dealllll
