    Very excellent idea. No chemicals like pesticides❤keep eating fresh, but watch out for squirrels and the like. I have a patio and can't do gardens because the animals cleaned me out.❤

    I do the same thing. I plant in December and keep it in the house till it stops freezing at night. By march, I have an entire years worth of lettuce, cabbage and onions.
