Dwarf crested iris (that I got for free) starting to bloom after a week of transplanting!!!? (Piedmont, NC)

Hey guys, I work in landscaping and a client wanted an entire portion of her yard completely cleared for a new native garden. Mind you, it was a native garden we were cleaning. My mind is always blown by rich people!! (I shared the red buckeye I got on here). Anyways, she had a whole healthy patch of dwarf crested iris and I took them all home. Just put them in last week and now there’s a FLOWER FORMING. I may poop or pee my pants from excitement, not sure which one yet…. but what the heck. I feel blessed from the native plant gods lol. Irises are the powerhouses of the earth cell. Anyways thanks for reading sorry I said poop and pee in the same post but didn’t know how to express my emotions any better. 🤓
