Looking for advice on how far from my fence should I plant Lilly pilly Straight and narrow – without losing too much of my grass?
Location: Perth WA
Grass area is 550cm x 180cm
Distance from fence to where the grass starts is an extra 10cm

Minimum 80cm. I’d go 1.2 metre to keep fence access
Hedge or tree? All depends on the type. Ours taller are than our 2 storey house. Trunk maybe 25cm across, each is about 60 cm from fence to centre of the fence.
