That’s insane. Must’ve had some issues with bikers and cars going up onto the curb lol

I bet the owner freaks out when the peas touch the potatoes on the plate…

Man I’m sure this is some level of mental disorder but I just hope they fill with some dirt and make a kick ass flower garden all around their grass. Would look really cool.

Edit- I think I figured it out! Look at the grass height vs the dudes driveway. The grass is much much higher than the driveway. I think this guy dug out a foot around everything so he can bring in soil and regrade a slope down to the sidewalk and driveway so there’s not a huge dirt ledge. This picture is just before the dirt is filled in and the grass seed put down.

Probably they are going to put gravel there or something because the grass was getting messed up?

He has created a moat. The ants will not pass.

Front yard with trees looks better. Get trees like your neighbour

Less like edging and more like creamy grass filling

Man, I thought I was aggressive. Noice.

  13. Is it always like that? Reason I ask is I wonder if they plan to put larger rocks in that space to keep dogs off the lawn. In Arizona where my mom lives several people have artificial grass and they do an edge border with these softball size rocks. Dogs don’t like walking on the rocks so it keeps them from going to the bathroom on the lawn.

Cold weather state? Sometimes salt kills grass around treated cement idk this shits wild if not

This is what happens when you use the grass line instead of the concrete line as a guide.

I’ve seen a lot of people do this. It helps with sun scorched grass in the summer from curbing, ice melt damage, and crab grass for getting in the cracks.

Maybe getting ready for sprinkler system to get laid?

That’s the only thing I can imagine after working that long and hard on edging.

This edgemaxxing trend is getting out of hand!

Looks like the landscaper is the barber for Kim Jong Un and Elon Musk.

This is just over edging. Each lawn day, they want a crisp line and give it a trim, facing the lawn’s edge, instead of the curb’s edge. Lawns grow upwards faster than they grow outwards. Each year, he is probably losing another inch.
