There are no stakes so I can’t figure this out. The video for this shows them burying it WITH half of the monstera and that just doesn’t make sense to me

    Yes, bury it in the pot so that the bottom of the pole is in the bottom of the pot. Fill the bottom of the pole with your substrate. Watch some Sydney Plant Guy videos, he’s the king of moss poles

    The grill or grid that comes is pretty sturdy and so is the backing I have few of those they don’t need any extra support at all.except it requires a lot of moss.put it directly to pot before the soil also since it’s aroid mix it’s quite solid as a matter of fact I can move or lift by the pole itself.

    I use them and I only use garden stakes when I have to extend the pole.
