Hello! This is my first post to this community! I had a couple of questions about these trees that bloom outside of my apartment buildings. I suspect the white one is a dogwood tree, only because I know that dogwood flowers look very similar to cherry blossom trees and common throughout Virginia (and that it’s the tree that represents Virginia). But even if I’m wrong, I would like to be corrected on it! And as for the pink tree, I have no idea what it is, but I am curious to know the name of both of these trees and some cool facts about them! Thanks so much!

The deep pink tree is dogwood, and the lighter pink one is a flowering cherry 🙂
