I was gifted this African Violet in early February (first picture) and the second picture is now.

I am bottom watering it once the top soil feels dry (roughly watering once per week). I bottom water and add Bonide liquid African Violet food.

It sits in bright indirect light all day from a South facing window. I recently added a grow light over it. I also added a humidifier to the room it’s in and have it sitting about 5 feet away.

Thanks for any help!!

I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. Once my violets’ blooms fade, I pinch them off close to the plant. They rebloom shortly after. Btw mine are in east window, no grow light, and fertilize only in summer months. Don’t give up.

Inside that pot it’s like that each of those AF has what we call a death plug. It’s a piece of fabric wrapped around the roots. So it’s very possible when you water it one of the AF is not getting enough water. I strongly suggest you separate them and put them each in their own pots.

When your flowers die cut the stem they are on all the way down to the base. I usually cut off a few outer leaves 🍃 as well. I never bottom feed and it’s on a table facing a north window. It’s thriving and pumps out new blooms as soon as I cut the stems of the dead flowers and the stems of a few leaves (which I propagate) at the base. Yours is beautiful with the 3 different types. Edit to add: I have never fertilized it.
