We've had out flock of Bielefelders for 3 years, and tried to let them hatch via nature last year. The broody hen got real close, but abandoned her clutch unexpectedly. They didn't hatch.
This year we let her get broody again, but I simultaneously started an incubator with 22.
So far, 5 have hatched, and we know for sure we have one rooster with the rest looking like hens. (Love sex-linked breeds!)
Included a pic of my absolutely PERFECT gentleman rooster and his ladies. His name is Jerk, but he's only a jerk to people messing with his ladies. 🥰✨
