  1. My spuds have been out since the end of Feb, we're on the coast so dont have late frosts, I've lots of other stuff out and sown toms today..I've sown peas and squash yesterday.. And lots of pumpkins..

  2. If you like cool names, how about china cat sunflowers. They're multi headed & I keep seed & grow them every year to hide my veg garden so that I can weed on a Sunday. The people here are very religious!!!

  3. Super good video Emmas the Rondleiding the zaalingen groente the bloems zaaien komkomers spinazie the beds good work good week grootjes 🌷🌱🌞🧋🥬🌿☘️🥒🚿🪻👍

  4. Good morning Emma
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your allotment videos. They're alot of work I'm sure but it's such a pleasure to see your smiling face 4 days a week. (Even if you're not feeling it)
    ❤️❤️❤️

  5. Brilliant, Emma, the best! Constant endeavour, inspirational activity, a supremo of canny editing and commentary not to even mention interesting knit-ware. Rest assured your slots are always encouraging, educational, witty and motivating, a big Thank You! Incidentally Carmen F1 is an excellent cucumber often featured in national horticultural exhibitions, long, straight and tasty!

  6. I use empty Greggs coffee cups to plant cucumber or courgette seeds, deep and insulated keeps seeds warm. Friends save them for me. Just remember to put drainage holes in the bottom.

  7. Your neighbours allotments are very very nice. I love their grass path. just so much green and healthy. They did a good job I think. Can you keep showing them just like you do now. Amazing actually. Thanks.

  8. Good morning Emma! I can see the excitement on your face for your newly sewn seeds! It is exciting, isn’t it? I enjoy seeing your tulips so much. We had some planted, but we got really hot here in California up into the 90s for a couple weeks and my tulips are gone.😢 and I saw Einstein. He’s so cute. I hope you have a lovely day and I enjoy one of your videos. ❤❤😊😊

  9. Looking wonderful already- sych an exciting time to be a gardener, thank you for sharing and for some brilliant tips !

  10. Hi Emma try autumn King carrots you will not be disappointed get great results allotment looking great. 😊

  11. Good morning Emma. I love your vlogs. I find them funny, enjoyable and entertaining. I’m wondering if you have an Amazon wish list. I would love to send you garden tools. I live in Canada, and shipping from here would be expensive, so an Amazon wish list would come in handy. Rakes, shovels, watering cans, supports for flowers or vegetables, or even decorations would be a good place to start your list. As you get things, you could remove them from your list so you don’t get dozens! Please consider this, I’m reaching an age where gardening is getting difficult, but I would love to be able to help you. 🇨🇦 xox

  12. Great to see everything you have growing already. I think the seed tray you were unsure about were your courgettes. 😊

  13. Crown Prince pumpkins grow really well. I grew them last year. The flowers can be eaten too, apparently, they’re a delicacy in France. They’re so fun to grow, I’m definitely growing them again this year 😊

  14. Emma I love Dragons egg as it's a light green or whitish that is mild in taste and burpless and makes great sliced pickles and fresh too! Similar to Lemon cucumber but a bit bigger and like lemon cucumber it gets seedy if left to get completely ripe much better young.

  15. Hiya Emma Thankyou for visit. Alas a while before growing can happen due too living across the pond 🇨🇦👋🏻🌧

  16. To protect the ears of corn, try putting a small paper bag over each ear. Securing each one at the base of the ear with twine or wire twist tie.

  17. Twist your rose head on wartering can upside down when you water the seeds, it won’t flood them out. It’s gentler.

  18. It’s such a fun hopeful time of the year 🌷. I haven’t had much luck with perpetual spinach, maybe this year will be better? Mine always bolts, but I’ve never grown direct, I’m going to give your way a go 👍
I save up old plastic tubs and cut them into labels for my seed pots/ trays, that way I don’t have to rely on my poor memory! I keep a few and my garden pen in my pocket when I’m out 💚

  19. Your tulips look absolutely gorgeous. My gardener made a mega mistake and cut down all my daffs so I've next to no flowers this Yr 😢😢 as you know…after flowering you should leave them to die back naturally so nourish the bulb so it flowers next year. . So sad.

  20. Emma I love how you're just a down to earth back yard / allotment gardener. Sometimes the TV gardeners do things that are beyond reach for the regular gardener. Your knowledge is certainly growing and you should be so proud of what you've achieved ❤️

  21. Hi Emma, thanks for your vlogs on what to do in April, really helpful information.Have a lovely Easter wit your family .❤
