  3. I just found your channel and have been going through all your gardening journey videos when I got this notification. 🎉 So happy to see how great the plants are doing after the freeze! We had snow today and it's about-4°C so only the most cold hardy plants are out 😂

  4. This weekend I got the Sta-Green 1-cu ft Vegetable and Flower Garden Soil 5 for $10 atthe big blue store. I was so excited and thank6that my best friend took me and encourages my newfound gardening addiction lol

  5. Hi friend with regular potatoes you have to hill them up.Which mean as soon as you see the green leaves you cover them up with more soil you do that until you get to the top of the bed with some green leaves showing.Happy growing.

  6. Don't worry banana trees are Hardy they will come back better and better each year happy growing everything looks good 😊

  7. Harvest the kale and make green smoothie pouches. Place them in the freezer so you just can grab the bag from the freezer and dump into your blender to create quick smoothies. Kale, banana, blueberries, pineapples whatever you want in your smoothie packs.

  8. Hi, you can make kale chips with your kale. If you don't have a dehydrator put them in the oven on the lowest setting. Freeze for a short period. They are a tough green so the freezer shouldn't affect them.

  9. I’ve been a subscriber for years. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you over the years. Especially since our lives have kind of mirrored . I started following you when you bought your fixer-upper and I bought a fixer-upper as well. And it just still happens I am in my garden era too . Definitely not as advanced as you. Just wanted to tell you I am super proud of your growth. And you continue to inspire me with all the beautiful things that you’re able to accomplish ! ❤. I’m struggling with my soil. If you have any recommendations I will take them.

  10. I love your garden. You have inspired me to give it a go. I use to garden with my grandmother when I was a little girl and I loved it. I've always been an in house plant mom (to Pothos plants) but I've never had and garden of my own or planted an flowers or plant outside. Plus it will give me a chance to build some garden beds. I love wood work.
Hope and pray your garden continue to prosper.

  12. Absolutely loving these garden videos. Btw cabbage keeps so well in the fridge for a while.

  13. Your garden is very pretty. I would watch the peonies. I have a full peony garden. They like to be in the ground and they overwinter well, however they don’t like to be fertilized like dahlias. Your veggies look great. 💚

  14. Very nice! I like the progress that seeds started inside makes but I hate hardening off. So I’m gonna try outside for the next planting season.

  15. Sis keep posting! I love your videos and my backyard set up is very similar to yours so youre giving me so many ideas!!!!!!

  16. Gurl, the benefits of growing in a warm climate. So beautiful 🤩 the fact that you are planting scraps and making food, I love it❤

  17. I was not only entertained, I also learned something new from this video and the one prior to this one, thank you and keep up the great work

  18. Hello my goddess on earth. I am in the process of starting a garden above ground. What do you suggest I should start off with? This is my first time…lol I'm a city guy (Baltimore) but I live in Atlanta. Frits vegetables herbs?

  19. Hey Shonda.. I love your garden in the backyard. It’s really thriving. So many beautiful plants. What are your plans for the hurricane season in case of a hurricane or high winds?

  20. Everything is looking good and promising. I’m like you with the Yukon potatoes… mine are doing nothing and with the heat about to roll into the Carolinas… I may switch and focus on sweet potatoes and try regular potatoes again in the Fall.

  22. Hi. All of your greens are so big and beautiful. You can harvest your greens, collards, kale, cabbage and wash them cut them up and freeze them. You can also add them to your soups. Kale is really good in smoothies as well. Just a few ides so they don’t go to waste.

  23. Girl, look at your garden!👏🏾❤😍 Have you tried rain water for your potatoes? I'm in Chicago/zone 5, but last year, using reserved rain water made my 🥔 plentiful. I was so happy..wish I could attach the pic, lol.
