I have a rex begonia that has been around for 6+ years. is there a way to make it more bushy/ more leaves? it feels like it's spreading outwards and drooping. is this normal/ healthy? 🙂 it's in a big pot already.

More light would be the answer. The lower the light the longer and floppier the petiole will be.

Regardless of what you do, senior Rex begonias do tend to get a little “spready” and don’t look quite as lush as young ones, in my experience…but this particular one does look more spindly than it needs to be. I second more light.
