so I got my alocasia just a couple months ago, it has been growing steadily and has already put out a new leaf but the old ones are getting more and more damaged and I don't know why.
I'm sure I water it enough, it gets a few hours of sunlight a day but I'm pretty sure the humidity is too low (not really sure what I can do about it though).
do you think it's a humidity problem or is there something else that I'm missing? (not a plant expert so I may not know something pretty obvious)

It’s natural to kill their older leaves but I think it wants more light. If the growth has been slow, it’s more than often the lack of light. Light is their food and if they don’t get enough food, they will start to react every little problem and create new ones. Humidity is fine.
Give them light, give them water and fertilize semi-often.
Possibly needs a grow light if you don’t have enough sunlight on it. Also, I only use distilled water for mine. They don’t like the minerals in tap water
