Hello,

I've seen a tomato called Vesuvius on Tomato revolution website.https://www.tomatorevolution.co.uk/store/VESUVIUS-p744068601

Cannot find it anywhere else on the Internet, says its a heritage variety and all I can find is vesuvio tomatoes and a vesuvius F1 variety which obviously isn't a heritage seed.

Has any else heard of this tomato and is it really heritage?

there’s many massive heritage toms in Italy, likely it’s just a “rebrand” of one of those for marketing purposes

No idea about Vesuvius, but piennolo del Vesuvio tomato is a famous heirloom grose tomato used for Naples pizza sauce.
