Need help figuring out what to do with my front yard to make it look good. No experience gardening or landscaping so I’m in the weeds (so to speak). The big problem is this Zelkova that is so graciously decided to take up the entire front of my yard lol.

That’s a magnificent tree. I would leave it be. If you wanted your yard greener then you could plant some ground cover plants that are comfortable with shade, or just a different turf mixture that is comfortable with shade.
Be careful not to mow over exposed roots. I’d weedwhack around them if you ever need to mow your yard.
Maybe talk to an arborist about fertilizing it. Idk what that means tbh, but apparently that’s important cuz we had some arborists fertilizing some of our trees.
Cut down the tree and replace the grass with a synthetic putting green.
