I moved houses and one of the really healthy leaves broke! It was broken for a while so I taped it however even after months it’s been green. Only fell out today because I moved the pot a little. What do I need to do now? Do I need to trim the stem of the plant to get a new growth? And what about the fallen off leaf? I’m a newbie here ðŸ˜

no don’t trim!! if the petiole is still intact, the next leaf will grow normally!! i have a few examples of that happening to me. The next leaf comes from the petiole and doesn’t depend on the leaf itself. i don’t have current pics but this plant here is ab example, the new leaf is now nature i never trimmed the petiole of the broken off leaf . Don’t do anything let it recover from the move

Tape it again. If it’s still green, why not? I have a Tortum taped up and it’s thriving. I’m shocked honestly 😆
It happens. There will be more leaves. Part of the beauty of growing plants is they never look the same for long. I learn to enjoy when my plants look the best so that I can go through when my plants have issues like pests etc.
