tried a few times from seed and stubbornly gave up after the last batch of duds and bought some starters!

I've loved the utricularia species, going to setup a nice little terrarium before long with a good mix of different species.

if you have any tips or see any issues with the current setup let me know! I research things almost to exhaustion, but love hearing what works well for other hobbyists 💚

organic canadian peat/perlite blend, standing tray with distilled water, barina T5 lights all around, but I have a pretty stout LED saltwater reef light leftover

from a nano-reef project that grew SPS coral sitting above these. I also have a 36w sansi thats unused, I'll switch it out to that if they don't seem to be thriving under this one.

once stable new growth is showing I'll start working with sanitation procedures to get them into some tissue culture media for a little fun.

Fresh seeds will be amazing to start playing with in tissue culture media as well as normal Propogating methods. There is a large market here that wants these plants, but almost nothing for sale from a hobbyist/shop within a 60-100 mile radius.

definitely going to look at some nicer crosses & more particular varieties after I spend some time with these and learn what they like!
