I’ve had this pink princess for a few months now. A few weeks after I got it, I repotted (50% – potting mix; 50% – moss chunks, charcoal, red pine park, lava rock). I water only when the soil dries out with distilled water and have it under a grow light (but about 2 ft away). I trimmed off some of the leaves because she did only have a few roots BUT the roots she had were healthy. She has looked like this almost the entire time I’ve had her (dropping leaves with browning and brown spots) and I would love some advice on how to make her happier!!

She needs more consistent water. That soil mix is awesome for monsteras, but philodendrons like a bit more moisture, and a mix that chunky would dry way too fast. My philodendrons *never* fully dry out, which is ok as long as your soil mix has lots of aeration. You can keep the soil you have, but you need to water more frequently and not allow the media to 100% dry. Aim for 60-70% dry instead.
Personally, I would go a little less chunky on the next repot by skipping the lava rock and cutting back on the other less absorbent ingredients a little. I usually do 1/2 potting mix and the other half perlite, fine orchid bark, some crushed charcoal, and about 15% long fiber sphagnum for mine, as it keeps things really airy but allows plenty of moisture retention.
Is it also in front of a window? What kind of grow light are you using? Unless it is a really strong one then 2 feet might be too far away. I try to keep mine between 8-12 inches away. If you start noticing burns on the new leaves you can move it up a couple inches. The answer to these issues is usually light. Also when you water it be sure to give it a really good soak.
