It was my 29th birthday last week. I celebrated by going to our local auboretum and getting my first plant baby. I'm pretty excited about her. Any tips and tricks on giving Marci a good home? and hopefully keeping her and her beautiful colors alive?

Marci’s pot seems a bit big. This matters because when pot is too big the soil stays too wet for too long and that causes root rot. Correct size would be 1 inch wider than rootball (rule of thumb is 1-2 inches, but it’s always safer to go with smaller).
