I had this little chestnut tree sitting around for some years, i’m not exactly a bonsaist but i decided to give it a try

I made this chestnut tree grow from a chestnut about 13 years ago. I kept it in a pot with the idea of planting it, but never had the chance. Since it'll brake my heart to throw it away i resolved for treating it like a bonsai (as it partly was already), cleaning and cutting its roots, pruning the branches and repotting it. Let's see if i'll manage to make it survive the treatment. Wish me luck!
