Hey! It’s my first hydro grow and it’s going fine so far. We’re at day 14 and they are growing.
The tips of the root already reach inside the water.
But they are getting a bit dark/brown at the end. I had that before but the brown tips grew out.
My specs:
EC 0,55
Ph 5,9
200 ppfd
Water temp is a bit high at almost 24 degrees Celsius (75F).
I have air stones and a 15 watts air pump for 4 pots.
I am thinking to buy a stronger pump for more oxygen.
I already orderes stabilized H2O2, which I will start adding 3-4 ml/liter every 4-7 days.
Is this still normal or can I do anything else (except buying a chiller)?

There’s no root rot homie. You should be fine since your running h202.
Nope. All good. It’d be brown and slimy.
You also don’t need the hydrogen peroxide unless your need to disinfect. You’re killing any beneficial bacteria/fungi colonies you might have. Takes look at liquid orca or king crab. Helps with nutrient uptake for the roots. I’d add in hydrogaurd instead with the water temp.
Edit: all will work at that temp, but def keep an eye on it. Those white roots are great!

Sieht gut aus, mit dem H2O2 mußt du sehr vorsichtig sein wieviel % hat das H2O2 3 oder 12. Das was mit Sicherheit dein Problem wird sind die 24 Grad der Nährlösung die sollte eher bei 20 Grad sein. Du brauchst auf alle Fälle bald einen Chiller.
