I have had this plant for several years, and although he is sprouting new babies at the base, he just never seems to look particularly happy or healthy. His leaves are always curled like this. Thoughts and tips would be greatly appreciated

Those taco-curled leaves usually point to stress at the root level more than anything above the soil, especially when it’s been going on this long. I’d check whether it’s rootbound or sitting in dense old soil, because pileas can keep making babies while still being kinda unhappy.

This is one of those plants that looks “fine enough” for ages until the pot/soil combo starts working against it 😅

I’m soon to be at your stage from a solid survivor grandchild.
    1. A bigger pot due to lack of space.
    2. Propagate the pups – with some rooting and a reasonably sized pot. Not big.

I’ve seen posts about big pups with parents but I hear longterm they have to be separated 🙁

Looking forward to your growth Seniore
