Stingray

I had bought this plant in a very beautiful ceramic pot and the leaves were big. I brought it home and it just got smaller and smaller, then the cat chewed on an emerging leaf, so I decided to check on the roots and there's like none… So I put it in leca. Did I make the right choice? Have I potted it correctly? And yes, I know it needs more light, this is not it's permanent spot. Any recommendations or advice is appreciated greatly.
