Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Pam. My brother introduced me to battery-operated light bulbs way before the Pandemic. I have been using them to replace most of my regular bulbs for years. When there is a power outage, my house is lit up. Just recently, I was watching someone on YouTube demonstrating those bulbs. I never knew what to do with one piece that comes in the package. I usually just leave in the box. I finally found out what it is used for. I was so-o outdone!! :0)
