Got the tree braced and trimmed today. Arborist said in a few years as the tree grows out a bit more that cabling will be necessary but for now this will be good. Appreciate everyone’s input.

Brace looks cool! In the past I’ve used soft cabling instead of rigid cabling and that seems to allow plenty of natural flex during wind, I’d see if that’s something that you could get from your arborist.
