I have grown mine in grow bags for two years. Works well except you have to water a ton. I am in 7b and in the middle of summer absolutely everything get scortched even watering 2-3x per day.

Probably. Just make sure it doesn’t dry out your soil (might need more frequent waterings or just get a drip system)
