I’ve had this guy for about 3 years and I’ve never pruned 🫣 He’s about 6.5’ tall and just one singular stem. I recently moved him from my bedroom (9’ ceilings) to my kitchen (~10.5’ ceilings), and now have my shorter and bushier FLF in my bedroom

  1. Where should I prune this guy to encourage a bushier, more tree-like appearance?
  2. Can I propagate the plant from exactly where I pruned (and have another small tree ready to go) or do I need to propagate only one leaf or so at a time?

Thanks in advance for any feedback and tips!

Put it right in the middle of a bright window. Then I’d prune it a few inches taller than you window sill. Most likely you will end up with several branches near your cut point.

You can propagate the whole cutting, but it’s easier to cut it into sections and then remove all but the top few leaves from each cutting.

I’m wondering the same about my tall guy
