Decided to put out a can with some packs of sugar snaps since I bought a pound of seeds and there's no way I could plant them all. I bought some blank seed cards last season for saving pepper seeds and such, so I had a bunch of those too. Growing gardens grows communities. Working out in the yard I've met more neighbors and spent more time chatting in the years previous when I just kept up with mowing and the leaves.

I donate mine to the public library.

There’s a farm near me that has free programs for kids where they start a plant and take it home after learning about the care it needs, maybe there is something like that near you? Sometimes libraries will hold seed swaps as well

  3. Do some guerrilla gardening! Carry them with you you and toss them into empty lots.

Save some for subsequent plantings. They can last for years if stored properly.
