I planted these too close together, I was in a hurry to beat the rain ๐Ÿ˜Š. Should I try to transplant the fan flower, and maybe even the corea? Will it be possible to get it out without damaging the salt bush? Or just pull it out and buy a new one?

Why not leave it and plant more. I donโ€™t like to see any dirt.

I’d just leave it. Fan flowers are a ground cover and will just fill in gaps. The salt bush will get quite tall so it will be good to fill the space underneath

Leave it. We are learning that dense planting with natives is better. Less plant losses, quicker weed suppression, better habitat, and it looks nice ๐Ÿ™‚

It looks fantastic, such lovely foliage & colour contrast. Every time I tried to move a native it diedโ€ฆ

I think you should leave it. As it grows in and evolves I think it’s going to look beautiful with minimal soil showing.

I’d leave them and take cuttings from the fan flower and what looks like maybe goodenia (yellow flowers) and fill the rest of the gaps with those

I like it tbh, but it depends on the style of bed youโ€™re after. Density means less weed seed poking in and germinating successfully ๐Ÿ™‚
