Guests watching from the front lawn of the historic house on Pearl Street were treated to a lively Maypole dance and a spirited polka danced by area youth.
A highlight of the evening came with the presentation of the Natchez Garden Club’s Lifetime Achievement Award to Cheryl Rhinehart. Serving as this year’s chair of the Magnolia Festival Ball, Rhinehart believed she was to present the honor to another recipient and started her speech when she was surprised by her daughter, Caroline Devereaux, along with other family members, who joined Devereaux to present the award to her mother. The emotional moment highlighted Rhinehart’s lasting contributions and dedication to the club, drawing warm applause from the crowd.
Above is a gallery of photos from the event filled with pageantry, performances, and other special moments.
