Walking around my neighbourhood and these bright orange little ones caught my eye. I’m in South East Asia

Pitanga aka Suriname Cherry, Eugenia uniflora.

Something from the Eugenia family. Maybe a Surinam Cherry but I can’t say for certain

  3. They’re pitanga, but they might be a rare orange/yellow variety. Do these eventually turn red?

Those are Suriname cherries. Growing up in Hawaii, my grandmother would juice them and put them in the punch she made for parties. One day, I discovered star gooseberries. They look similar, but don’t taste the same.
