We tried veggies in here last year and they were all eaten by caterpillars and either rats or possums. So I'm thinking a walk in netted area. I need some help though. Do we put it on in the inside of the bricks, on bricks or outside? Measurements are 195cm (front edge) by 285cm. It gets a bit of sun, more in the late afternoon over winter. This is a 12pm photo today 29 March. Any other suggestions on setup welcome!

What direction is the camera facing in that photo? If you were facing north, then that’s going to be far too much shade to grow anything through winter. You say that’s midday sun (and you get more in arvo) so hopefully you’re facing south.
Either way, i think you might need to trim back your trees a bit so they don’t overhang the planting area so much. good veggies need at LEAST 4 hours of sun, and even then, they want more.
