



If you ever bought fruit trees from a nursery, they tend to plant their container plants too deep.
I believe this Cherimoya (Annona cherimola) was planted about 6 inches too & I tried to cut the adventitious roots.
[For those wondering why the roots are so small compared to the trunk, it is because was originally grown in 6 x 12 tall pot. I transplanted it to a 15 gallon container].
